<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of revolutions required for mutual fixing of two pipe members without the occurrence of leakage and to adjust a holding strength between pipes to a proper value. SOLUTION: In a fluid coupling having first and second pipe members 12 and 14, the first pipe member 12 is provided with an external screw having a synchronous screw part. The second pipe member 14 is constituted in a manner to be contained in the first pipe member 12. The coupling further consists of a nut 20 slidably and rotatably adapted to the periphery of the second pipe. The nut has a pair of synchronous screw parts engaged with the screw part of the first pipe member for fastening.</p> |
