PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reduction of reliability owing to a shortage of a residual capacity of a battery by inhibiting a function operated with a power source supplied from the battery when the residual capacity of the battery is detected and the detected residual capacity does not satisfy the normal value. SOLUTION: When a MPU: 62 receives an informational recording requirement from a CPU: 52, a detecting voltage from a power source voltage detecting circuit 7 is read with the MPU. Next, whether the record required from the CPU: 52 is recorded in an optical information recording zone or recorded in a memory within IC chip 5 is discriminated. When the recording is required for the optical recording part, whether the read detecting voltage exceeds the normal value of the minimum voltage which is stable and capable of being optically recorded is decided. Information is recorded in the optical information recording zone when the detecting voltage exceeds the normal value, and the generation of a recording error that recording is impossible owing to the shortage of the power source voltage is notified the CPU: 52 when the detecting voltage does not exceed the normal value. |
