PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct speech recognition where retrieval hysteresis by a desination retrieval function is taken into account, and to reduce a burden for a user that a voice input from a superordinate hierarchy is required even when the superordinate hierarcy-omitted voice input is natural, so as to enhance convenience for use. SOLUTION: For example, when an address of 'Aichi prefecture Kariya city' is defined in destination retrieval to be map-displayed, 'Aichi prefecture' is stored as a reference address. When usual speech recognition processing (S20) is not succeeded relating to a voice input of 'Inuyama city○○cho' (S30: NO), the speech recognition processing is executed again in a condition imparted with the stored reference address (S110). When 'Aichi prefecture' is stored as the reference address, 'Aichi prefecture Inuyama city○○cho', that is the address appended with 'Aichi prefecture' in its head part, is considered to be voice-input, so as to conduct the speech recognition. Therefore, a user is required only to input the address starting from a city name such as 'Inuyama city○○cho'. |
