PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a display, which is close to the shape of an actual road, by detecting two parallel links that represent one road among link data and displaying the links as one road. SOLUTION: A detection means detects two links that are separated into parallel up and down lines and a display means displays the link which goes through the two links. Then, as a pairing train, nodes n2-1 and n2-2 of a link train No.2, which is one of up and down line separating links No.1 and No.2, are projected to the closest point of other link train No.1, nodes n1-1 and n1-4 are obtained and added to nodes n1-2 and n1-3 which are originally existed in the train No.1. Then, closest points P1 to P4 to the link tain No.2 are obtained from the nodes n1-1 to n1-4 of the link train No.1. The nodes n1-1 to n1-4 of the link train No.1 and intermediate coordinates A1 to A4 among the points P1 to P4 are the nodes which constitute an intermediate link train. |
