PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reception of a material for a terminal in a terminal device in which a terminal is housed in a terminal case and two leg parts of the terminal are projected to the outside of the terminal case. SOLUTION: A terminal 11 has an electric wire receiving surface part 21, an electric wire inserting surface part 22 is bent from one end of the electric wire receiving surface part 21, and a locking piece part 24 is bent from the electric wire inserting surface part 22 toward the electric wire receiving surface part 21. A first leg part 27 is cut up from the locking piece part 24, and a second leg part 31 is cut up from the electric wire receiving surface part 21 to effectively receive a material for the terminal 11. By cutting up the first leg part 27 from the central region in the width direction of the locking piece part 24, the contact of the locking piece part 24 to the electric wire is made uniform and stable in the width direction of the locking piece part 24.
