PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high luminance display device capable of faithfully displaying desired colors without varying them in all current ranges and without degrading resolution or the quality of an image or reducing the life of the cathode of an electron gun. SOLUTION: Plural electron guns 4g1, 4g2 are provided for at least one of three cathode-ray tubes 3r, 3g, 3b displaying red, green and blue images. Image signal output circuits 2g1, 2g2 to output currents in response to image signals are formed corresponding to the electron guns 4g1, 4g2.
