PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting stick with a high light performance effect which is applicable to muddlers or the like and which automatically emits light and blinks when a vibration is applied. SOLUTION: A light emitting stick 60 has a structure in that a casing 1, which contains a light emitting and blinking device having installed on a print wiring board a light emitting diode 21, a pulse illuminating control circuit for controlling the illumination of the light emitting diode 21, a vibration sensor which detects vibrations and causes switching, and a button battery 28, is attached to one end 3a of a transparent plastic rod 3 so that the light emitting portion of the light emitting diode 21 is positioned at the tip surface of the transparent plastic rod 3. The light emitting stick 60 lights up as the luminous flux of the light emitting diode passes the inner portion of the transparent plastic rod 3 taking this as a light passage, and reflects and refracts outwards from the tip 3b having been satin finished and side surfaces provided with streak like recesses.
