PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the receiver reduced in power consumption, small in size and low in cost by controlling the reception priority of an FM multiplex broadcasting for differential global positioning system(DGPS) and an FM multiplex broadcasting for other than the DGPS vehicle information and communication system(VICS), for example. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with one tuner 12, an FM multiplex decoder 13 and a VICS decoder 19. In this case, a data-processing part 14 switches the reception frequency of the turner 12 so as to alternately receive DGPS information and VICS information and when a car speed sensor 17 detects high-speed driving on a highway or the like. In such a case, since the DGPS information is not required so much, the DGPS reception priority is lowered, and reception time is shortened. During low-speed traveling in the town or the like, since the exact position correction due to DGPS is required, the DGPS reception set priority is set high and similar length of time as VICS information is assigned for receiving the DGPS information. |
