<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and comparatively inexpensive closed type right angle drive gear box for transmitting the movement from a first shaft to a second shaft extending in nearly right angle. SOLUTION: A housing has a first facing cylindrical opening couple formed by half cylindrical recessed parts 42, 46 and a second facing cylindrical opening couple formed by the other half cylindrical recessed parts 44, 48. A first shaft 24 is supported to the first facing cylindrical opening couple turnably and the second shaft 20 is supported to the second facing cylindrical opening couple turnably and the longitudinal direction center axes of the first/second shafts are extended while orthogonally crossing with each other. A first gear 22 is fixed on the first shaft and the second gear 18 is fixed on the second shaft and the first/second gears are engaged with each other drivably. A pair of tightening tools 50, 52 with a screw are penetrated through oneside of a housing member and screwed into the other side of the housing member and the housing member is joined removably each other.</p> |
