PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an engine driven heat pump in which excess heat can be utilized in addition to normal heating by setting a temperature difference for utilizing hot water supply or floor heating and converting work can be carried out easily. SOLUTION: An engine driven heat pump is provided with a refrigerant circuit 218a extending to a heat exchanger for producing hot water in parallel with an indoor heat exchanger 240 during heating operation wherein refrigerant enters into the heat exchanger for producing hot water from b4 and returns back from b3 after radiating heat. City water is fed from b7 and heated through the heat exchanger and cooling water further heated with engine exhaust heat is fed from b6 to a second heat exchanger for producing hot water. City water heated through the first heat exchanger for producing hot water is further heated through the second heat exchanger for producing hot water before being fed from b8 to a heat storage tank and used for hot water supply. Engine cooling water is returned from b5 after radiating heat. Hot water to a floor heater having different working temperature band is branched from the way of the coil in the second heat exchanger, fed from b2 to the a floor heater and returned back to b1 after radiating heat.
