PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method and device for punching a plastic sheet, by which the punched refuses remaining at the sheet to be processed and at the punching device are automatically, surely and efficiently removed when the sheet material is punched by a complete cutting method using a Thompson mold. SOLUTION: A sheet is punched out from the upper part using a Thompson mold and at a next process, punched refuses are removed by an air flow formed by sucking air through a blower from the upper part. Or, at the next process, the punched refuses are vacuum-adsorbed from the upper part. Or, at the next process, the punched refuses are removed by blowing compressed air to them from the upper part. Or, at the next process, the punched refuses are removed by an air flow formed by blowing air from the upper part through a blower and discharging the air to the outside.
