PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable performing recording/reproducing of multi-channels with circuit constitution of a small scale. SOLUTION: In a multi-channel sound recording device sound-recording and reproducing sound signals of plural channels, the device is provided with a solid circuit 53 in which digital voice data of plural channels is time-division- processed (parallel→series conversion), and compression-encoding/expansion- decoding are performed by successive compression system. Encoding/decoding of multi-channels can be performed by one solid state circuit, then miniaturizing of a device can be performed.
