<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize such a method to produce a toner having excellent releasability, anti-offsetting property and low temperature fixability. SOLUTION: A mixture is prepared from an aqueous dispersion of wax particles an aqueous dispersion of binder particles and an aqueous dispersion of a colorant. The wax contains >=20 wt.% ester component and has a penetration of <=4. Subsequently, the was particles, the binder particles and the colorant are heat-fused in the aqueous medium to produce the objective toner containing wax domains whose equivalent circular diameter is 200-500 nm.</p> |
