PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a switchboard which eliminates the need for taking a long power failure time, when more switchboard bodies are installed or when the switchboard bodies are repaired. SOLUTION: In this switchboard, buses 11 are arranged in the upper part inside an enclosure 9 in every switchboard body 8. Both ends of the buses 11 are made to protrude from both sides on the surface of the enclosure 9. Disconnecting parts 13 are formed. Guide plates 14 which surround the disconnecting parts 13 are installed. A connecting unit 16, which comprises a nearly U-shaped connecting conductor 18 used to connect both ends of the buses 11 at adjacent switchboard bodies 8, is installed capable of being freely raised and lowered along guide plates 14.
