PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disperse with newly installed software, even when connecting plural image input devices of different sorts and to easily transmit an image of high image quality by including a signal for specifying the color array order of pixel data to be transmitted and specifying the colors of an array, based on reference colors of three kinds or more specified by the ratio of three primary colors in control data. SOLUTION: An image signal outputted from an image input device in the image signal transmitter is transmitted through an impedance matching resistor and a coupling capacitor. A binarized data signal is obtained from the image signal by a clamping circuit 220 and a comparator 217 setting up its reference voltage to Vd. A binarized synchronous signal is obtained by another comparator 216 setting up its reference voltage to Vs. The clamping circuit 220 acts, so as to clamp the bottom of the synchronous signal to a GND level by the action of a diode 222.
