PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm facsimile contents of memory reception on the screen of a connected PC(personal computer) during the time of the memory reception switched over thereto owing to a shortage of a printing form. SOLUTION: If the form runs short, a memory reception management part 10 stores the data of the page where the form runs short in a facsimile data storage part 11. Then when the PC 1 is powered on, the PC 1 activates the facsimile software corresponding to this facsimile device 12 and expects a communication control signal from the facsimile device 12. A parallel communication control part 3, on the other hand, sends a communication start request to the PC 1 once the parallel port becomes active in response to the power-on operation of the PC 1 and sends the facsimile data stored in the facsimile data storage part 11 to the PC 1 with an acknowledgement signal from the PC 1, which converts the data into bit map data and displays them in a display window.
