PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily chargeable a portable telephone set whose battery capacity is insufficient in a remote place without bringing this portable telephone set back to an office or a house, and to make it unnecessary to lead in an AC line at the time of setting. SOLUTION: Thhis automatic vending machine is provided with a coin accepting means for accepting a certain amount of coins inputted from a coin input port 2 provided on the front part of a case body 1, and for outputting a coin input signal, connection electrode 10 connected with the charging terminal of the portable telephone set, rapid charging circuit for supplying a charging power to the connection electrode 10, battery connected with the DC power input terminal of the rapid charging circuit, outside DC power supply terminal connected with the DC power input terminal, timer circuit for clocking a constant time at the time of receiving the coin input signal, control means for outputting a command to the rapid charging circuit so that the portable telephone set can be charged in the clocking time of the timer circuit, and charging display lamp 6 provided at the front part of the case body for informing the outside of the charged state of the portable telephone set.
