PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydrous contact lens from which a reactive dye is hardly fallen by incorporating the reactive dye insolubilized in water by bonding with a binder. SOLUTION: This hydrous contact lens contains a reactive dye insolubilized by bonding with a binder. A dye generally known as a reactive dye is used as the reactive dye without any particular limit and a water-soluble dye having an anionic water-soluble group such as a sulfonic acid group may be used. The concentration of the reactive dye in the molded hydrous contact lens is properly selected in accordance with the kind of the reactive dye and the purpose of use but the preferred concentration is 0.0005-1.0%, in particular 0.0005-0.2%. The reactive dye is hardly fallen from the hydrous contact lens. The dyed contact lens being properly used especially in the dyeing of a hydrous contact lens not having a functional group capable of reacting with the reactive dye can be obtained.
