PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system that quickly identifies a criminal. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a camera 1 that photographs the area, an interrogator 7 that reads information D from a terminal 6 carried by people entering/exiting the area, and a recording and reproducing device 3 that records a video signal of an image photographed by the camera 1 and the information D read by the interrogator 7 in cross reference with each other. Thus, the system can identify a criminal not only from the video image but also from recorded personal information.
