PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a common space wherein persons in remote rooms feel that they are sharing the same room by photographing the surfaces of a first and a second flat plate, on which characters, a figure, etc., are drawn, and persons, objects, etc., in front of the plates, and projecting these images on the second and first flat plates respectively. SOLUTION: In a room A10, a white board 101 is photographed by a camera 102 and its video information is sent to a room B20 through a network 200 and projected on a white board 201 in the room B20 by a projector 203. Similarly, the white board 201 in the room B20 is photographed by a camera 202 and its video information is sent to the room A10 through the network 200 and projected on the white board 101 in the room A10 by a projector 103. Consequently, characters written on the white boards 101 and 201 and persons A and B standing in front of the white boards 101 and 201 are projected on the opposite white boards. Thus, the spaces in front of the white boards 101 and 201 are shared by the remote places. |
