PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a system that indexes contents of a conference by matching an image caught during the conference and recording of voice uttered by conference participants. SOLUTION: The method includes identification of each conference participant making a speech, acquisition of a still picture of each conference participant, and mutually relating the still picture of each conference participant to a segment of voice data recorded, that is, a segment corresponding to a voice uttered by each conference participant. This indexing system includes voice recorders 14, 32, at least one identifier denoting a position of the conference participants, a camera 24, an image storage device 34, a processor 31 that relates the still picture caught by the camera 24 to a voice recorded by the voice recorders thereby relating the still picture of the conference participant to a segment of the voice uttered by the conference participant, and a graphic user interface 45 that can easily access the stored voice and image data and data with mutual relation. |
