MAGNETIC RECORDING MATERIAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetic recording material with a magnetic recording layer which is not cracked by the bending of the material and does not become tacky even when the layer is moistened. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording material has a magnetic recording layer consisting essentially of a ferromagnetic material and a binder on the substrate, wherein an intermediate layer made primarily of a thermoplastic resin having <5 deg.C glass transition temperature is interposed between the substrate and the magnetic recording layer. The binder of the magnetic recording layer is a thermoplastic resin having 5-50 deg.C glass transition temperature.
