PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a high contrast ratio capable of displaying white with higher whiteness. SOLUTION: This display device 20 has a plurality of two-color balls 23 consisting of a pair of hemispherical parts 23a, 23b varying in colors or reflectivity and electrostatic charge characteristics and fluid bodies 24 rotatably enclosing these two-color balls 23. The one hemispherical parts of the two-color balls 23 are white. The fluid bodies 24 enclosing the two-color balls 23 exhibit white.
