PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the gyrocompass which can stably absorb the vibration and shock of a rolling ball support part in the gyrocompass. SOLUTION: A load support part perpendicularly penetrates a joint part 30 which connects a first shaft part 4 and a second shaft part 5 so that they freely slant. At the upper and lower ends of this load support part, a first spring part 20 and a second spring part 21 are installed. Further, a coupling part 11 made of an elastic body is installed at the outer periphery of the joint part 30, and a damper 10 is clamped radially outside a first support board 8 and a second support board 9. Consequently, operating vibration is effectively attenuated by the first and second spring parts 20 and 21, and the rotation of the second shaft part 5 is securely transmitted to the first shaft part 4 through the coupling part 11.
