PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vibrating state detecting device with high vibration detecting precision by reducing any thermal influence. SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 2 is mounted through a coil spring 4 on a steam trap 1 as a vibration generator. The coil spring 4 is butted to the outer surface of the steam trap 1 and the acceleration sensor 2 with a prescribes spring force. Ultrasonic vibration generated by the steam trap 1 is detected through a coil spring 4 by the acceleration sensor 2.
