PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-exchanging ventilator which has a simple structure for switching over an air duct and is inexpensive. SOLUTION: A damper storage room 8 is partitioned between the partition wall 4 of a heat exchanger storage room 5 and the partition wall 11 of a blower storage room 9. A semicircular damper 12 is arranged in the opening 16 opposed to the blowoff port 19 of a blower 18 for blowoff. The damper 12 is rotated directly by the rotary shaft 23 of a motor 22 in the direction of blowoff. The path of exhaust gas E is switched over into heat-exchanging ventilation and usual ventilation, according to the rotational position of the damper 12. The shifting space of the damper is small, and the space can be saved. Since it is of motor direct coupling, the structure is simple.
