PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ash melting furnace in which the furnace pressure of the ash melting furnace and/or the furnace temperature of an exhaust gas combustion furnace are stable even during the time of removing dust of an exhaust gas duct. SOLUTION: This ash melting furnace is provided with an electric resistance ash melting furnace 1 and an exhaust gas burning means 2 in which the exhaust gas generated in the ash melting furnace 1 is burned. In this case, at least two exhaust gas ducts 3 are provided between the electric resistance ash melting furnace 1 and the exhaust gas burning means 2 so as to connect them each other, and a dust removing means 5 is provided for removing the dust sticking to each exhaust gas duct 3.
