EARTHQUAKE RESISTING TYPE PIPE COUPLING AND ITS WORK EXECUTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling being excellent in earthquake resistance and to provide a work executing method suitable to work execution at a site for an existing pipe. SOLUTION: This pipe coupling comprises a packing part body; and a division housing part body 2 containing and setting the packing part body and covering a space between the end parts of two pipe bodies 10 to be connected together. The packing part body is provided on two end sides with ring parts 11 to surround the peripheral sides of the end parts of the two pipe bodies 10. A coupling part 12 to form the ring parts 11 integrally with each other is protruded and arranged opposite to the outside of the ring part 11. A packing containing part to contain the ring part 11 and the coupling part 12 is formed at the division housing part body 2, and the division housing part body 2 is coupled and fastened and a coupling means is disposed to hold the coupling part 12 of the packing part body 1 in the containing part.
