PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe coupling with a metallic pipe release preventing function to decrease the length of a coupling body by separately mounting a fastening part and reliably seal and grasp a connection metallic pipe part so as to miniaturize the pipe coupling, and reduce a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A socket is provided to receive a metallic pipe connected to one end part or the two end parts of a coupling body, an expansion recessed part 18 is formed on the end part side of the socket and a packing to bring the metallic pipe into a watertight state is mounted. A fastening part is provided to radially fasten the outer peripheral surface of the metallic pipe axially externally of the expansion recessed part 18. In a so formed pipe coupling, a fastening part comprises an expansion protrusion part mounted on the inside end part of a coupling body expansion recessed part; a cylinder part 63 extending from the expansion protrusion part axially externally of a pipe axis along the outer peripheral surface of the metallic pipe; a metallic pipe grasping member 60 having one end part on a periphery so that at least a cylinder part is reduced in diameter; and a fastening tool 70 to radially draw the notch part 61 of the metallic pipe grasping member.
