PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide line quality required of a speech, while effectively utilizing a frequency for a stationary type mobile station, in addition to a mobile station with respect to the method for containing a stationary type mobile station in a mobile communication system. SOLUTION: This system consists of a base station BS, a mobile station MS freely movable in the radio zone of a base station and a stationary type mobile station SU that is installed semi-fixedly in the radio zone of the base station, and the base station BS informs the stationary type mobile station SU and the mobile station MS about area information for recognizing the size of the base station radio zone by the mobile station MS and the stationary type mobile station SU in this mobile communication system. The base station BS informs the mobile station MS and the stationary type mobile station SU regarding information as to where the area information used by the mobile station MS differs from the area information used by the stationary type mobile station SU, so that the line quality of the radio zone recognized by the stationary type mobile station SU is better than the line quality of the radio zone recognized by the mobile station MS.
