PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance versatile applicability of the type of machine by changing standard of reception and decoding of a control signal, when combination of electrical appliances to be operated according to instruction contents of the control signal to be received and a control signal transmitter is standard and nonstandard in which custom codes to indicate manufacturers and types of machines are conicident or noncoincident. SOLUTION: The control signal of an infrared light from a remote controller is received by an optical DET 107, which is received by a reception circuit 101 and decoded by a decoding circuit 102. The combination of the remote controller is determined as to whether it is a combination of the standard or nonstandard, depending on whether or not the custom code and a data code of the decoded signal exist in a storage means 105 by a comparison and determining means 103. A receiving condition of the reception circuit 102 and a comparison and determining condition of the comparison and determining means 103 are instructed according to this determined result by a control means 104. Thus, reuse of an unnecessary remote controller is enabled by adding a function for receiving and using a signal from the conventional remote controller to a remote control signal receiving circuit of the electrical appliances. |
