PURPOSE: A terminal board protection cover for air conditioner outdoor unit is provided to avoid electric wire short and fire by eliminating a gap formed between the electric wire arranged at the terminal board and cover body. CONSTITUTION: A protection cover(4) includes a near square-shaped cover body, an inverse U-shaped rib(4b) inserted into a terminal board mount groove(2) formed at an outdoor unit, a stopper(4c) formed at the center of the rib, a support portion(4d) formed at the lower center of the cover body and which supports an electric wire(5) connected at a terminal board(3), and a sponge(10) arranged at the support portion in such a manner as to tightly contact the electric wire, thus protecting the terminal board from moisture. The support portion has screw holes formed at both sides of the support portion. The sponge is attached in an elongated manner along the recess of the support portion.
