PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an optical disk is provided to form a recording surface by optionally curving a recording layer in a design inserting step within a tolerance error, so as to form an optional character or a design by a refraction difference of a reflection light reflected by the curving of the recording surface of a disk. CONSTITUTION: In a resist mastering step, a glass substrate(4) is polished to coat a uniform photo resist on the glass substrate(4), and the photo resist is coated. In a design inserting step, an optional drawing or a character is inserted into the PR(Photo Resist) coated-glass substrate(4), and a re-PR coating is performed. In a laser beam recording step, a recording layer is formed by irradiating an optional signal, using a laser beam on the PR-coated surface inserted with the optional drawing or the character.
