摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with various kinds of systems when recording and reproducing are executed in a magneto-optical disk by arranging a first electromagnetic bias means in the flow-in end side of a slider on the back surface of a rotating magneto-optical disk and arranging a second electromagnetic bias means in the flow-out end side of the same. SOLUTION: When an initialized magnetic field is required for reproducing a disk D in an RAD system, an FAD system and a D-RAD system or the like, a first electromagnetic bias magnetic field generating means 10 is functioned as an initialized magnetic field generating means, a magnetic flux extends from the forward end part of a yoke thereby generates a desired direct current initialized magnetic field in an effective magnetic field zone M1. The magnitude of the direct current initialized magnetic field is adjusted to a desired magnitude by adjusting the magnitude of a direct current impressed to a coil 12. A winding number of the coil of the first electromagnetic bias magnetic field generating means 10 is increased more than that of the second electromagnetic bias magnetic field generating means 20 and the initialized magnetic field having a satisfactory magnitude is generated. On the other hand, a bias current is not impressed in a CAD system.
