PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly recognize the pattern of plural complicated holograms without being affected by the noise of fingerprint or dirt by performing the pattern recognition while preparing a reference pattern based on a correlation function considering the ideal pattern and noise of hologram images. SOLUTION: An image capture part 21 captures a CGH reproduction image reproduced by a CGH reproducing device and converts it into a black-and-white multigradation digital image. Next, a pattern position detecting part 22 generates alignment information based on the digital image from the image capture part 21 and basic position information and next, a light quantity calculating part 23 calculates the light quantity of the pattern based on this alignment information and basic position information. Next, a pattern recognizing processing part 24 performs the pattern recognition of this pattern light quantity based on the reference pattern, which is prepared while considering the noise, and a recognition parameter and outputs the recognized result of the input image.
