PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a pentagonal mirror type single lens reflex camera further. SOLUTION: A pentagonal mirror 11 is supported to be rocked and moved between a using position and a housing position centering a rocking supporting shaft 49 provided at both side parts of the mirror 11, a focusing screen block 21 is supported to be rocked between an observation position and the housing position centering a shaft 38 provided at the rear end of the block 21 as the mirror 11 is rocked, and further a reflex mirror 23 is turnably supported at the housing position where its free end comes closer to a film surface than at the observation position. Therefore, when the mirror 11 is housed, the mirror 23 is moved closer to the film surface side than at the observation position, whereby the block 21 and the mirror 11 are collapsed more downward, and the camera is miniaturized further.
