摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the squeeze performance. SOLUTION: This squeeze device is constituted of a pair of nipping rollers 30 and 31. The surface roughness of the peripheral surfaces of the rollers 30 and 31 are finished to be in the range of Ra=2.0 to 7.0. Solution is liable to be retained inside the fine recessed part of the roller peripheral surface, so that the squeeze performance is lowered when the surface becomes rougher than the surface with the surface roughness in the range of Ra=2.0 to 7.0. When the peripheral surface of the roller is made smoother than the surface with the surface roughness in the range of Ra=2.0 to 7.0, the solution is liable to be shed, so that the shed solution adheres to such a photosensitive material as a photographic paper and is liable to be taken out. When the surface roughness of the peripheral surface of the roller is within the range of Ra=2.0 to 7.0; solution holding ability inside the fine recessed part of the roller peripheral surface and liquid peeling ability by the smoothness of the peripheral surface of the roller are balanced and the squeeze performance is improved.
