HYDROGEN STORAGE CONTAINER AND VENTILATION MATERIAL FOR THE CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage container capable of efficiently storing hydrogen and light in weight. SOLUTION: The internal part of a hydrogen storage container 1 is partitioned into a plurality of hydrogen alloy containing chambers by a partition wall 2 and a tube 6 for a heating medium flow passage and sheet-form ventilation materials 7 and 8 are arranged in a container chamber. The ventilation materials 7 and 8 are ventilated with a ventilation material in other containing chamber at the end part of the containing chamber, and the ventilation material is coupled in a ventilating manner to a hydrogen discharge port 10. The tube 6 is communicated with a heating medium inflow port 11 and a heating medium outflow port 12. This constitution reduces weight and besides efficiently contains a hydrogen absorbing alloy in the container and also performs smooth discharge of hydrogen.
