PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the responsiveness of drive action, to obviate the loss of driving power and to eliminate the need for using a protective tube which is laborious in mounting. SOLUTION: This endoscope device has a moving lens 21 and motor 29 constituting a zoom lens at the front end of the endoscope arranged with a first ring 12 of an angle ring constituting an angle part and converts the rotational motion of the motor 29 to linear motion by the screwing coupling of the holding part 26 of the moving lens 21 and a rotational driving body 27, thereby moving the moving lens 21 forward and backward. The motor 29 is directly mounted at a motor holding part 34 formed by notching the cylindrical surface of the first ring 12 of the angle ring and deforming the notched part. As a result, the need for the conventional long wire-shaped transmission member and protecting tube is eliminated.
