Gas curtain for protection of products sensitive to airborne contamination, uses diffusers around decontaminated gas flow

The gas curtain feed has a pipe (2) with an orifice (6) through which flows a decontaminated gas in the direction of the products. It also includes a diffuser (22,24) at the side of the orifice which diffuses the decontaminated gas in at least a direction having a component perpendicular to the general direction of the gas flow (8). Each diffuser has a curved surface towards the interior of the pipe and has a part of its surface opposed to the decontaminated gas flow.
