PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photographer to visually confirm a focus frame selected at present before focusing by making the focus frame corresponding to a selected range-finding point emit light with the brightness of low luminance. SOLUTION: Plural AF frames (focus frames) observed within finder field through an ocular 19 indicate the positions of a center range-finding point, a left side range-finding point and a right side range-finding point, respectively. A body microcomputer 34 controls a light emitting device 23 so that the AF frame corresponding to the range-finding point selected by the operation of a range-finding point selecting operation part 36 by the photographer may emit the light with 2nd brightness of the lower luminance than 1st brightness. The microcomputer 34 drives an AF motor 32 so that an AF lens group in a photographing optical system 41 is moved to a focusing position and focused on a subject. When focusing is attained at the selected range-finding point, the AF frame is made to fully emit the light (lit to display with 1st brightness). |
