PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an optical axis inclination generated when an actuator is driven, even if individual component parts of the actuator have variation in dimension and accuracy of assembly is uneven. SOLUTION: A sub-base 6 for supporting yokes 8 and magnets 9 is superimposed on the back of a base 5 which elastically supports a moving part 2 of an actuator holding an object lens 1. The base and sub-base are made into one body by forming through-holes 5c for screws in the base like long slot holes extended in the direction of tracking, shifting the sub-base in the direction of tracking with respect to the base according to an inclination of an optical axis of an object lens in the radius of a disk when the lens is driven only in the focusing direction, and coupling them by the screws at four corners. Thus, it is possible to eliminate an adverse effect on reading and writing information caused by an optical axis inclination of an object lens without an extreme increase in accuracy in dimensions of component parts of the actuator and their assembly.
