PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve display having high-brightness and high-fineness. SOLUTION: In this display discharge tube, discharge spaces are formed in every cells in substrates 1, 2 oppositely arranged, and first address electrodes 6, a pair of display electrodes (5) sandwiching the first address electrodes 6 and a dielectric layer covering the electrodes are formed on the discharge space side of one substrate. And, second address electrodes are formed on the surface of the discharge space side of the other substrate. The first address electrodes 6 and the pair of display electrodes (5) are respectively united in every cell, and they do not cross to each other in paths to extraction electrodes of them.
