PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the height (camera height) of the upper cover of a camera where superimposing display is performed within a finder and also facilitate electric mounting. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with finder optical systems 5, 6, 7 and 13 for observing a subject image formed on a focusing screen 11 by an image-forming optical system by oculars 5 and 6 through a pentagonal prism 13, and provided with display means 12 and 14 to 17 illuminating a display part on a reflector 12 arranged on the focusing screen or near the scheduled image-forming surface of the subject image by illumination means 14, 15, 16 and 17 through the pentagonal prism so that reflected light from the display part can be observed together with the subject image by the oculars. The illumination means 14 to 17 of the camera is constituted of a light source 15 arranged in front of the pentagonal prism and a light projecting optical member 14 at least one part of which is arranged in front of the pentagonal prism and bending and projecting illuminating light from the light source toward the upper surface of the pentagonal prism.
