<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a controller and a device to surely share the same state information by informing the controller of a state change quickly, when a display of an operation menu is changed based on the state change in the inside of the device in the network control system. SOLUTION: A device has menu display data, denoting its operation menu and its identification information (preferably including version information) and a controller issues a menu request 101 to acquire the menu display data or the like from the device as menu information 111. The controller uses the menu display data or the like for displaying the operation menu, and when any operation is made to the operation menu, the operation information and the menu display data identification information are fed to the device as an operation request 241. The device executes a function corresponding to the operation request. Thus, when the menu display data in the device changes, the device gives the menu display data or the like to the controller as menu information 121 after it is changed.</p> |
