<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide constitution suppressing looseness when fitting a plug connector by providing narrow ribs comprising edges linearly extended in conformity with the fitting direction, on an inclined inner surface opened toward the opening edge of a fitting opening of a housing. SOLUTION: A cap connector 10 has a housing 20 with an almost rectangular outline, contacts 50a, 50b supported thereto, and an opening 21 opened toward one side to receive a mating plug connector. A tilt angle of an inner surface 60 is made large to pull out a die easily and positively, and a plurality of narrow ribs 70 comprising edges linearly extended in conformity to the depth direction (fitting direction) of the cap connector 10 are provided on the inner surface 60. The width of narrow ribs 70 are to be sufficiently thin, and the edges of the narrow ribs 70 are engaged with the outer surface of the mating plug connector when fitting to the plug connector. A contact failure of a contact can therefore be prevented.</p> |
