PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress flaws generated when an electrostatic charge carrier leaked from a magnetic brush is pressed thereto at the time of transfer by mainly forming the surface layer of an electrophotographic photoreceptor of a three-dimensionally crosslinked and deposited resin and specifying the hardness thereof. SOLUTION: The surface layer of this electrophotographic photoreceptor is mainly composed of the three-dimensionally crosslinked and deposited resin. The curve indicating the relation between the hardness H and the indentation depth (h) of an indenter in a surface film property test to the surface layer does not have an inflection point and the universal hardness value is >=200. If the layer forming the surface layer is a single layer structure, the thickness of the single layer photosensitive layer is 5 to 100μm and is more preferably 10 to 60μm. A charge generating material or charge transfer material is incorporated at a ratio of 20 to 80 wt.%, more preferably 30 to 70 wt.%. In the case of a laminated structure the film thickness of the charge generating layer is 0.001 to 6μm, more preferably 0.01 to 2μm. The content of the charge generating material is 10 to 100 wt.% more preferably 40 to 100 wt.%.
