PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the test time for outputting the test results for plural test objects in ECU(electronic control unit) to the tester side so as to improve test efficiency. SOLUTION: Tests are executed for the operating condition of the storage content of a ROM 22, a RAM 23, an input circuit 40 and an output circuit 60 as plural test objects in an ECU 10. The test results are once stored in the RAM 23, and then collectively output to the tester 100 side from the ECU side 10. According to the output content, it is determined by the tester 100 whether the ECU 10 is good or bad. That is, the test results for the plural test objects in the ECU 10 are once stored in the RAM 23 and then collectively output to the tester 100 side by a communication circuit 70. Thus, the test time for the ECU 10 can be shortened so as to improve test efficiency.
