摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure accurately the degree of oxygen saturation by performing the heterodyne detection of organism transmission light and eliminating scattered light. SOLUTION: Luminous flux from a laser-generating device 101 is made incident on a first optical fiber 103 from a micro lens 102. The incidence laser beam is propagated through a third optical fiber 111 by first directional coupling equipment 104 and is modulated by a device 112 for varying reference luminous flux phase. By propagating luminous flux that is made incident through a space speckle correction plate 106 from a first directional optical system 105 on an organism sample 107 and is passed through the speckle correction plate 106 with light that goes straight on out of scattered light by a second optical fiber 109 for interfering with a third optical fiber 111, the luminous flux is superposed by second directional coupling equipment 110. A device 112 for varying reference luminous flux phase consists of, for example, a piezo, and reference luminous flux that is modulated by it and is superposed by a photo detector 113 and signal luminous flux are subjected to heterodyne detection. The luminous flux is demodulated by an amplifier 114 and a demodulator 115.
