摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the environment of a sea salt particle assessable rapidly with a compact and simple device by spraying the air containing sea salt particles to a copper plate, measuring the discoloration of the copper surface due to corrosion by measuring the amount of reflection of light on the copper surface, and calculating the adhered amount of sea salt particles. SOLUTION: A copper plate 1 that is a sea salt particle capturing martial is arranged so that it can travel at every fixed time by a drive motor 3, and a cover 2 with window is installed on the upper surface of the copper plate 1. Air is constantly sprayed from a blowing part 5 being located at the upper portion of the cover 2 to the window part of the cover 2. If a mist containing sea salt particles exists in the air and hits against the copper plate 1 via the window of the cover 2, the copper plate 1 is corroded due to the sea salt particle, thus discoloring the surface of the copper plate 1. Light is applied from an application part 6 to the copper plate 1 at the window part of the cover 2, and a light reception part 7 for detecting the amount of reflected light from the copper plate 1 is arranged toward the window part of the cover 2. The amount of reflected light from the copper plate 1 decreases as the corrosion by the sea salt particles progresses and the output of the light reception part 7 also decreases. It is evaluated whether the a mount of sea salt particles is large or small according to the change in the amount of reflected light.
